MEET THE TEAM: Ellen

Meet Ellen, the newest addition to our team! She has her master’s degree in communication management under her belt and is now working on her first job at Act-Wise. Ellen brings not only a lot of fresh energy and enthusiasm, but also a good dose of humor and curiosity. We thought it was high time to introduce her to you with a short blog – so you too can learn a little more about her.

Ellen already has a solid foundation in communications, but this is really her first job. Her enthusiasm for the profession shines through in everything she does, and we are happy to have her on our team. At Act-Wise, she fits perfectly into the picture of young professionals who add both expertise and a personal touch to our work.

When it comes to vacations, Ellen has her favorite destination all set: Rhodes. The delicious food and low prices make it her ideal vacation spot. You really can’t go wrong for her with a trip to the Greek island. But when it comes to Belgian destinations, Ellen is always up for a weekend by the sea. “Getting a breath of fresh air and that vacation feeling at home,” she says. No hassle with long flights, but immediately enjoy the fresh sea air. What more do you want?

When it comes to food, Ellen has a special comfort food: a classic we all know but never go out of style: sausage with applesauce and mashed potatoes, topped off with a handful of pearl onions. There is nothing better than this simple but oh so delicious combination. A real taste for her!

If Ellen could choose one superpower, she would go for flying. The idea of never again being in traffic jams and getting around at lightning speed is music to her ears. And honestly, who wouldn’t want to be able to fly? The freedom to be anywhere in an instant is what appeals to all of us.

In between work pressures, Ellen is also not averse to a tasty snack. Her favorite thing about the office? Rice cakes topped with chocolate. It sounds simple, but it’s the perfect snack to take a moment to relax and replenish energy.

When it comes to vacations, Ellen’s heart really comes alive when she camps. “Back to basics, I love it,” she says. A tent, open air and nature all around you – for Ellen, that’s the perfect way to unwind. So, if you ever hit the road with her, you know it won’t be a hotel resort, but an adventurous and pure camping experience.

At home, Ellen is with her boyfriend in their newly purchased house. And while she is thoroughly enjoying the new place, they already have plans for the future: animals. “We’re going to start with chickens!” she says with a smile. Who knows, maybe more little animals will be added soon to make the house even cozier.

And for those wondering, Ellen has shoe size 40. Perhaps not the most mysterious fact, but always good to know, right? 😉

In summary, Ellen is an adventurous bon vivant who makes the most of every situation. Whether she is camping in her spare time, eating her favorite comfort food, or dreaming of flying – Ellen is a colleague who always creates a fun atmosphere.
