Break The Ice in Brussels: networking, art and … a spiritual wolf?
Brussels has no more secrets for me! Or is it just now? During Break The Ice, I not only discovered new places in the city, but also an unexpected side of myself (more on that later). Two days full of networking, great food and surprising experiences-I’d love to take you!

The trip began with a site inspection of the brand new Cardo Hotel, a gem in town. Stylish, modern and the perfect place to stay. After a short tour, I was immediately allowed to test out the rooms – sleeping comfort? Check!
But first: cocktails! The welcome drink was not just drinks and snacks; we also got the chance to unleash our inner Picasso and create our own abstract artwork. Whether my masterpiece ever ends up in a museum is doubtful, but at least it was a creative and hilarious experience.
After drinks, it was time for a delicious dinner at Gritto, where my taste buds were as happy as my networking heart. New people, engaging conversations and a friendly atmosphere. A top finish to Day 1 … or wait, no, that was my bed at the Cardo Hotel. Blessedly slept!
Day 2: Speed, spirit animals and a legendary party
After a hearty breakfast, we immediately shifted up a gear: speed dating with suppliers. Short, powerful and above all, lots of business cards exchanged. My interview techniques were on point and my pockets were bulging with contacts.
After this intense morning, it was time to relax. But not just like that: I discovered my spirit animal! In the mysterious MOIR Museum, I was presented with a unique experience. And the big reveal? I am a wolf! Majestic, independent, but also a team player. Fits perfectly, right?
The evening ended stylishly with a walking dinner at The Hoxton. Delicious food, great conversations and just when I thought the energy had run out, the atmosphere got all pumped up. A party to remember-becausesay it yourself, what’s a networking event without a party at the end?

Conclusion: Brussels, we did it right!
Break The Ice was a great mix of business & pleasure, networking & discovery, and of course food & party. I went home with a backpack full of new contacts, inspiration and … the knowledge that there is a wolf in me. Until the next edition!
