A Festive New Year’s Journey to Skopelos!

To start the new year in style, we organized a special event for one of our clients, a leading consulting firm. The goal was not just to celebrate, but to create a unique experience that reinforced team building and connection. What followed was an unforgettable evening at Mamma Mia! The Party in Rotterdam.

Our client wanted to organize a New Year’s activity that was different from the usual company drinks. Together we came up with a creative interpretation: a group trip to Mamma Mia! The Party, an immersive dinner show that combines the atmosphere and music of ABBA with delicious food and interactive theater. The event took place at Rotterdam’s Schiecentrale, a venue perfectly suited to the festive and theatrical ambiance.

The trip began as early as Antwerp, where a comfortable bus was waiting to transport the group to Rotterdam. The bus trip, with about 50 enthusiastic women and a few (lucky?) men, made for an immediate fun start. During the ride, playlists of ABBA hits were played and the mood was quickly set.

Upon arrival in Rotterdam, we were welcomed into a completely transformed space that felt like a Greek island. The tables were set, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the cast was ready to draw the audience into their world. The show began with a delicious Mediterranean lunch, while the cast brought the story of Mamma Mia! to life with song, dance and interactions with the audience. It was a unique mix of theater and party, in which everyone was invited to participate. For many participants, it was a chance to step out of their comfort zone and fully immerse themselves in the fun of the day.

• The Music: The live performances of ABBA’s greatest hits created an unforgettable atmosphere. From “Dancing Queen” to “Waterloo,” the music brought everyone to the dance floor.
• Teambuilding: The interactive nature of the show gave colleagues a chance to laugh, dance and enjoy themselves together, which strengthened group dynamics.
• The Location: The attention to detail in decorating the space made for total immersion in the story.

The day was a great success. The combination of music, theater and fellowship proved to be an ideal way to start the year positively and energetically!
