MEET THE TEAM: Eva

If you are looking for someone who never stands still, literally and figuratively, then Eva is the right person. She is one lump of energy, positivity and drive. With her roots in Italy, a passion for exercise and a distinct love of good food, she brings a unique blend of flair and down-to-earthness to the Act-Wise team.

Eva studied Communication Management at the Arteveldehogeschool in Ghent. With this solid basis in communication as well as considerable organisational talent, she is a real asset as a project manager. She loves structure, but equally loves spontaneous ideas. No two days are the same for her and that is exactly how she likes it.

Apart from her job, Eva loves to get people moving. Literally, because she teaches gymnastics classes as well as being a cheerleader with pompoms shining along the sports field. Sitting still? Not lost on her. Yet she also knows how important balance is. She finds these on the Belgian coast, where she likes to go for walks and unwind with a view of the sea. Getting a breath of fresh air, getting some fresh air and clearing one’s head… priceless, if you ask her.

With Italian roots, it is no surprise that Italy is her favourite holiday destination. Not only for the delicious food, but also for the relaxed way of life. La dolce vita, that’s just in her blood. Yet even here, she likes to keep both feet on the ground – and those feet, for those who want to know, fit perfectly into shoe size 37.

In culinary terms, Eva has a definite preference: casserole with mashed potatoes, cauliflower and minced meat. Simple, hearty and above all: super tasty. At the office, she likes to keep it light and healthy, with cashews a favourite snack during busy work moments.

Were she allowed to choose a superpower, she would not have to think long: teleportation, no doubt. The ability to be anywhere at once – from an early morning meeting in Ghent to a sun-drenched terrace in Italy – that totally suits her lively and adventurous nature.

And when you ask her what she prefers: an all-inclusive resort or camping? Then she laughs: camping, of course! Getting back to basics, sleeping under the stars and waking up in the morning to the smell of fresh grass – this is real enjoyment.

Eva is a colleague who sets the mood: she brings schwung to every project, team spirit to the workplace and warmth to every contact. Whether she is in the gym, sitting in the office or heading to Italy with her suitcases, Eva always does it with full conviction. A real Act-Wiser, then.
