MEET THE TEAM: Sarah

Time to put another colleague in the spotlight! This time it’s the turn of Sarah, our creative jack-of-all-trades with a passion for events, a weakness for glamping AND a love for casseroles.

Sarah already has a great track record in the event world. She once started as a booking agent at an artist’s office and then grew as an event manager. These days, she holds all the reins firmly in our hands. From brainstorming to after party, Sarah takes care of it.

Anyone who asks her about her dream destination gets a surprising answer: southern England. Not immediately the place you’d expect cocktails on the beach, but according to Sarah, it has “something magical, pristine, almost undiscovered.” Sounds like a fairy tale, and that’s how vacation should be. In Belgium, she hesitates between Antwerp and Ghent – we can’t blame her for not wanting to choose. Nor could we declare a winner.

What she likes to eat? Classics that always do well, Sarah loves casseroles. Think chicory with ham, red cabbage with minced meat and onion, bird’s nest with mashed potatoes … and so on. Comfort food with a big C. Ask her about her favorite office snack and she neatly says “yogurt with fruit and granola,” but she readily admits that co-workers with chocolate, cookies and nooses sometimes make her moral compass slightly off.

If she could choose one superpower? Then she would stop time. Taking a break in a world that is always going on and on – sounds like quite a top idea. And yes, world peace would also be welcome, but unfortunately no superheroes have been spotted for that yet.

On vacation these days, Sarah goes for glamping – the best of both worlds: nice and outdoors, but with a mattress and a bit of luxury. She has two wonderful young adult children and no pets for now, but who knows what the future holds. And for the curious souls among us, her shoe size is 41. Just in case you ever want to give her slippers as a gift.

In short: Sarah is a top-notch colleague with a big heart, a sharp mind and a well-rounded casserole. And we are very happy to have her on our team.
